A Glance at Granito de Arena as Activism with Pamela Yates
Pamela Yates joins us to discuss her newest documentary “Granito de Arena: En Busca de la Verdad y Justicia en Guatemala”. The film follows Pamela’s journey for justice in Guatemala and the use of her film to press charges against former president and general José Efraín Rios Montt. We’ll speak to Pamela about the making of the film and current developments since its release.
Guest: Pamela Yates, documentary filmmaker and co-founder of Skylight Pictures. Yates was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for four of her films. Awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship to support the documentary "Granito de Arena".
